Established in 1996, Buckner Westminster Place is a faith-based, nonprofit senior living community offering a full continuum of care. Located on a 16-acre campus in the heart of East Texas, Westminster Place offers a desirable Longview location near shopping, dining, and entertainment, including Longview Mall. The community has built a strong local reputation and is located in a city recognized as a Certified Texas Retirement Community.
Buckner Westminster Place offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Support, Short-Term Rehabilitation, and Long-Term Care.
Amenities include maintenance-free living, cable, electricity and water, weekly housekeeping with linen service, transportation, complimentary breakfast plus one included meal, lawn care, tree trimming, a salon, wellness center, movie theater, vibrant lifestyle programs, reserved covered parking, an overnight safety officer, a stocked fishing pond, and much more.
Yes, depending on each person’s needs. Couples may live together in Independent Living and add private-duty services to support the spouse who needs additional help. Another option may be for both spouses to reside in Assisted Living if one spouse needs care and the other is comfortable living in that setting.
Yes. Gluten-free and low-sodium options are available.
Yes. Pets are allowed to reside with Independent Living residents.
Yes. Scheduled transportation is available.
Costs vary by residence type, care level, and services needed. Independent Living starts at $3,100, Assisted Living starts at $5,400, and Memory Support starts at $7,120.
Buckner Westminster Place is part of Buckner Retirement Services, a nonprofit organization. As such, it is our intention that residents have every opportunity to call Westminster Place home for the rest of their lives. After qualifying financially at move-in, residents may request financial assistance in the future if they meet certain criteria.
